Pool Rules

When using the Retina computer pools, we ask you to follow a few rules that serve to maintain the computer pool and workstations and ensure undisturbed operation for all users!

  • Please leave the room as you found it!
Please put the chairs back at your workstation and do not leave any garbage lying around!
  • Eating and drinking is not permitted in the computer pool!
Please understand that food must remain in your bags.
  • Please do not make phone calls in the computer pool or in the corridor!
Longer phone calls can be made in the stairwell at the front so as not to disturb others in the computer room!
  • Please do not switch off the computers!
Please do not switch off the computers! The screens light up automatically when you move the mouse, for example. There is therefore no reason to touch the screens! When leaving the workstation, please only perform a "log off"!
The computers are shut down automatically. If the computer has been switched off automatically due to power-saving measures, please switch the computer on.
  • Please do not change the cabling of the devices!
Please do not re-plug any cables or remove any connections on computers, monitors or other devices.
  • Please do not remove the straps holding the PCs!
Please also ensure that you do not push the devices backwards. This can damage devices and connected cables, which may mean that the computers can no longer be used.
  • Please only use the installed software!
If you require additional software, please contact the Retina team.
  • Please move the chairs back!
Please move the chairs back under the workstations. Thank you very much !
